Quick Start Guide
Time to complete: approximately 2 minutes
Step 1: Open Your Project
Navigate to your Jira project that has a Scrum board with an active sprint.
Step 2: Find the App
Look for "Jira Points Tracker 1" in your project navigation tabs, next to Board, Backlog, and other project tabs.
Step 3: View Your Dashboard
The app loads automatically and displays your sprint data:
- Timeline — Sprint dates and days remaining
- KPIs — Issues, Points, Scope, and Velocity at a glance
- Progress — Completion bar with status breakdown
- Team — Per-person capacity cards showing individual workload
Step 4: Understand the Colour Coding
Days Remaining:
- Green — 7 or more days left in the sprint
- Yellow — 3 to 7 days left
- Red — Fewer than 3 days left
Velocity Status:
- On Track — Completion percentage is at or above time elapsed percentage
- Slightly Behind — Within 15% of the target
- Behind Schedule — More than 15% behind the target
Step 5: Refresh Data
Click the Refresh button at any time to pull the latest data from Jira. The dashboard updates on page load and whenever you manually refresh.
You're All Set
SprintINSite will now track your sprint capacity automatically. It monitors scope changes, team workload distribution, and velocity status in real time, and remembers your baseline for comparison throughout the sprint.
